Getting Started

01

Open the Game

Click "Play Now" on our homepage to launch Tennis Dash in your browser. The game loads instantly — no downloads or installations needed. It works on desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones.

02

Understand the Court

You play on one side of a tennis court viewed from above. Your racket is at the bottom of the screen. The opponent's racket is at the top. The ball bounces between players just like a real tennis rally.

03

Control Your Racket

On desktop, move your mouse to position the racket horizontally. On mobile, drag your finger across the screen. The racket follows your input in real-time. Position it where the ball is heading to make a return.

04

Return the Ball

When the ball reaches your side, your racket needs to be in the right position. The angle at which the ball hits your racket determines where it goes on the opponent's side. Off-center hits create angled shots; center hits go straight.

05

Score Points

You score a point when the opponent fails to return your shot. The opponent scores when you miss. Matches escalate in difficulty — opponents get faster and more accurate as you progress through rounds.

06

Climb the Leaderboard

Every victory earns you points that contribute to your leaderboard ranking. String together winning streaks for bonus points. The more you win, the higher you climb. Can you reach the number one spot?

Input Methods

🖱️

Mouse (Desktop)

Move your mouse left and right to position the racket. The racket tracks your cursor horizontally. No clicking needed — just smooth mouse movement controls your position on the court.

👆

Touch (Mobile)

Place your finger on the screen and drag left or right. The racket follows your finger position. Lift and tap elsewhere to quickly reposition. Works on both phones and tablets.

📐

Shot Angles

The ball's return angle depends on where it hits your racket. Edge hits create sharp cross-court angles. Center hits send the ball straight back. Use this to control rallies strategically.

💨

Speed & Timing

Moving your racket quickly at the moment of contact adds speed to your return. A stationary racket produces a softer shot. Master the timing to mix up power and placement.

Pro Tips

Advanced Strategies

Anticipate, Don't React

Watch where your shot lands on the opponent's side. Based on the angle, predict where the return will come. Start moving your racket before the ball crosses the net.

🎯

Target the Corners

Aim your shots at the edges of the opponent's court. Corner shots force the AI to cover more distance, increasing your chance of scoring on the next return.

🔄

Mix Up Your Game

Alternate between power shots and soft returns. If you're predictable, the opponent adapts. Keep switching angles and speeds to stay unpredictable.

Gameplay FAQ

As the rally continues, the ball speed increases to raise the stakes. Longer rallies mean faster exchanges. This mechanic rewards players who can maintain focus and accuracy under pressure.
Tennis Dash is designed for quick, uninterrupted sessions. There's no pause button during an active rally. However, between points there's a brief moment to regroup before the next serve.
Your score is based on points won, matches completed, and win streaks. Winning consecutive matches gives a multiplier bonus. The more dominant your victories, the faster your score grows.
